November 2020 Blog Income Report

Blogging Tips

So it’s December 2020 and first, I want to address any changes or hiccup that my blog experienced last month. I had mentioned before that I was experiencing redirect issues from my old site to my new one and because of that my traffic was slow. Well, I finally figured out how to redirect things smoothly so that all of my Pins out in the Pinterest led my visitors to my new site. Unfortunately, doing this was extremely time consuming but I did it! I am hoping to see an increase in traffic going forward.

Another issue is my TrustPulse notifications. TrustPulse is a plugin that gives “social proof” to visitors when they visit your site. My new site’s security has stopped this from working. I have tried to troubleshoot it but I am not good with coding. I will probably need to out source this in the coming month along with making sure my site is on Google Analytics and Google Search Console properly.

I spent the majority of my time the last two months writing good content and working on my YouTube channel, check it out and don’t forget to subscribe! I have decided to expand into more lifestyle content on my blog for the upcoming year so that my blog fits seamlessly with my other social media platforms.

Lastly, I decided to have a month long sale since December is my birthday month. Be sure to  grab my Website Legal Bundle that every blogger needs while it is on sale. For everything else in my legal boutique use the CODE: HOLIDAY20 .

For December, I am going to refocus on Pinterest. Meaning, I am going to be organically Pinning like crazy and  making sure I max out my Tailwind subscription. You can follow me on Pinterest here. If you don’t have one you should definitely sign up for it. Tailwind  makes Pinning so much easier. Join the Blogging for Bank Tailwind Community here to help your Pins get seen! I am also going to make fresh Pins for all of my posts this month and get them out there. Now for the stats….

November 2020 goals:

  1. Achieve 1500 monthly page views, I had 694 page views.
  2. Get 50K Pinterest monthly views,  I have 12K currently.
  3. Have 1500 Pinterest followers, I have 1023. You can follow me on Pinterest here.
  4. Have 40 published blog posts,  I have 51 published blog posts.
  5. Add at least one related content post to every blog post. Check!
  6. Grow my email list to 25 subscribers. I grew my list to 32 subscribers.
  7. Get my Facebook Group up to 30 members. We currently have 69 members and are growing! You can join the best Facebook group for bloggers here.

For my income I made $301.93 selling products from my legal boutique on my website. To date, my best seller is my Website Legal Bundle™ that every blog and website needs to help legally protect their site. This bundle sells for $249.99 on my blog but I offer an exclusive coupon for $50 off for Blogging for Bank Facebook group members. Another great reason to join. You can join now here, for free!

I also have an affiliate program that offers a 50% commission on every sale you can join here. That means that when you make the invest to legally protect your blog with my Website Legal Bundle™ all you have to do is get two commission sales and you’ve earned your money back.

That brings my total blog income for July 2020 to $504.76.

Here are my goals for December 2020 which will be mostly focused on Pinterest:

  • Get 50K Pinterest monthly views.
  • Have 1500 Pinterest followers.
  • Have 55 published blog posts.
  • Add at least one related content post to every blog post.
  • Get my Facebook Group up to 100 members.

I am going to be honest. Treating your blog like a business and being intentional is hard but it is so worth it. I have accepted that I cannot do it all or do it all at the same time. I am going to rotate my focus each month to make sure that I don’t slack off. I was so focused on writing content, YouTube, and Instagram for the past two months that I slacked on Pinterest and I wasn’t prepared to take a break from Pinterest. I will schedule for that in the future.
