If you love nature like me, a stroll through the Chicago Botanic Garden is sure to impress. This year, from February 12-March 27, you can enjoy The Orchid Show: Untamed as well as the many other beautiful exhibits in the gardens. There’s even a separate Orchids After Hours event each Thursday night and on Valentine’s Day where you can purchase cocktails and appetizers to enjoy as well. The Chicago Botanic Garden is not within city limits so you may have to arrange transportation.
